About Michael

Internationally acclaimed and award winning photographer and published artist Michael Barone approaches each photograph as a expression of artistic excellence. He believes that the best images come from understanding the subject and the particular needs of each clients. After spending the time to get to know each clients unique needs, Barone uses his artistic training and the tools of modern photography to create work that meets his exacting artistic standards.

Barone has been a professional photographer for over 20 years after receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from the University of Delaware. His work has appeared in a number of juried shows and exhibits throughout the Northeast and received several awards, including best in show and purchase awards. Most recently, Barone exhibited his one-man shows ion South Street, University City, and Old City Philadelphia. He also has been a part of many group exhibitions in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Quakertown and New Hope, Pennsylvania. His latest solo exhibition "Censor This!" at the ArtHouse Lounge in Harrisburg, PA received critical acclaim.

Barone has earned PPA Certified Designation from the Professional Photographers of America. This designation was earned after meeting rigorous requirements measuring his artistic, technical, ethical and business competence. The PPA Certified designation is held by fewer than 2,500 photographers worldwide.
